It's still a Trek, and I would only touch one if I worked at a Trek dealer. Sure, it looks to be 1000x better than anything else they've done, but as a company they are 100% pure lameness. |

Pacific sucks, but as a HUGE operation they can fund some good enigneers to make cool products like this... I had a 2006 GT DHi and while it was ugly and the BB mechanism was a royal pain, it rode quite well. |

Looks like it will preform well but I see a couple of issues. One, there are so many little bits in the "rib-cage" I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of failures in the first few versions despite all of the analysis being done on the frame. Secondly, if you ride it in wet conditions at all, your rear shock is going to have a much shorter lifespan... |

I worked at a shop that sold Iron Horse, and I can tell you, their quality is crap. Without the DW link they will fall out of the high end market... |

Great POD. No helemt, but it's street. What I am really digging is that one of the riders is on a MTB and the rest are 20 inchers. Good to see people riding together and not always vibing... |

Yeah, I waited 2 days to watch the BMX on NBC and when it finally aired it was on for no more than 5 minutes. Thanks a lot for covering one of the most exciting and freshest of Olympic sports. Who wants to watch hours of beach volleyball??? And, please don't try to tell me that those butch chicks are hot. Gross. |

1.) It's doubtful that the camera was being turned the opposite direction of the rider, but it's impossible to tell for sure. 2.) This site is full of homophobes, which is too bad. Calling something "gay" shows a real lack of class. 3.) Digging the bear comment, but his weight is forward and the fork is compressed so you can't really tell how big the frame is. 4.) Yes, it deserves POD. Just because you think you can jump doesn't mean you can rail a corner... |

It's called a fisheye lens. Unless you wrote a program to linearize the photo, there is NO WAY that you can tell if it's bending. And it would bend the other way if it was doing so (unless he threw on the front brake which he doesn't have). The reactive force to the impact is normal to the surface he is landing on... |
